    Great for a simple break from Canberra.

    Surprisingly good camping only a stone throw away from canberra. I've driven longer and further to camp in less beautiful locations. Only 30 min drive (if that) out of canberra, flushing toilets, showers, done good waking tracks, and best of all there's no reception ::)

    I just wish it was a little less setup, I know it's a weird complaint, I'd just prefer a large area where you can camp anywhere, rather than specific spots to park, camp and setup your fire (takes a little away from the camping vibe).

    What a beautiful place to stop by. We came with a bunch of students and took photos of the night sky, did some light painting and then had a campfire. A great place with plenty of open areas.
